Kate was most recently the inaugural CEO of the Tech Council of Australia where she championed raising awareness of tech jobs, and creating the right training pathways into them. Before that, she was a Partner in a startup analytics firm, AlphaBeta, that was later sold to Accenture, where she worked on a number of projects related to labour market and training reform. She was also a consultant at McKinsey & Company and worked in tech and communications policy for 15 years with the federal government, Network Ten and the Australian Industry Group.
