Dr Janet Yeo

Dr Janet Yeo is Acting Deputy Executive Director at ATN Universities, where she leads the organisation’s policy and strategic initiatives portfolio and shapes engagement on national higher education, research and innovation reforms with senior university leaders.

She joined ATN as Policy Director. Prior to this, Janet was Senior Business Development Manager at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI), where she supported the commercialisation of biomedical discoveries and developed strategic industry partnerships. Earlier in her career, she held project and policy roles at national peak bodies including the Association of Australian Medical Research Institutes (AAMRI) and AusBiotech.

Janet holds a PhD in Medical Biology (Biochemistry) and first-class honours in Immunology from the University of Melbourne.
