Dr Sabrina Chakori

Dr Sabrina Chakori is a Chancellor’s Research Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney. Sabrina’s research explores the role of exnovation in sustainability transitions. Her interests span ecological economics, post-growth transitions, industrial policy and social entrepreneurship. Sabrina completed her PhD in 2022 on food packaging reduction (The University of Queensland), and explored sustainability transitions in her research positions at CSIRO and at the University of Sydney. She is also the founder of the Brisbane Tool Library, an award-winning social enterprise, and co-founder of the Degrowth Journal.
