Universities lobby crossbenchers in foreign relations fightback

In a last-ditch effort to ease the ­impact of the federal government’s Foreign Relations (State and Territory Arrangements) Bill, universities are lobbying opposition and crossbench senators to back amendments to reduce ministerial power to intervene in their overseas agreements.
