Dee has worked in both the private and public sector, with over 15 years of experience applying creative design thinking within different contexts. These have ranged from the design and implementation of communications strategies to strategic stakeholder engagement at the interface between higher education, industry and government. Dee has applied her creative leadership skills to service design, online learning experience design, change management and translating scientific concepts and research outcomes.
Dee has been a leader in the provision of design services for the development of postgraduate programs, short courses, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). This has included the facilitation and development of new engagement and service delivery models within the commercial sector at Microsoft, Pearson Australia, and within the higher education sector – working at the nexus of research, teaching and learning. She has shared her knowledge and experience with postgraduate students as a sessional lecturer in Learning Design for UTS and University of New England.
Dee holds a PhD in Chemistry (Materials, Computational) from University College London.
