Working collaboratively both online and offline is a key skill in the future of work, with hybrid and remote working now a modern norm. Critical to effective collaboration is the understanding and consideration of a range of perspectives (different to our own!), including frameworks and tools that act as powerful enablers.

This module approaches collaborative working from a human-centred perspective by providing a range of frameworks and tools that can be applied to increase understanding and empathy between team members. These help us celebrate diversity in the workplace and connect with people from a range of cultures, personalities, and working styles.

Participants will be introduced to online collaboration tools that will both expand their skillset and enable more effective hybrid working. They’ll apply what they’ve learned in a live team project so they can further develop and practice their own approach to collaborative working.

The key here is the act of collaboration as opposed to achieving an excellent group outcome – it’s the learnings along the way that will provide the biggest take-aways and impact for participants in their current and future work.

I love the fact that it was not just a theoretical aspect but also included a practical aspect. I was able to put what I learned in the course into practice, and I enjoyed this.
