

ATN universities enrol 19% of the nation’s students, 19% of low SES students, 14% of disabled students and 17% of indigenous students. The ATN Access and Equity working group was established as a direct result of the recent reforms to the Higher Education sector. It will report on issues such as changes to HECS fees and their impact as well as the new dilemmas in recruiting low-income students. It will also work to improve outcomes related to staff and student equity by way of:
