Clare Burton Memorial Scholarship
2006, for the first time since its inception, the ATN awarded two Clare Burton Memorial Scholarships providing further funds to support post-graduate research into gender equity.
2006 recipient, Phoebe Hart, used her scholarship to produce a documentary exploring the experiences of people with Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) an inter-sex condition where the reproductive organs are at variance with the genetic sex of the child.

2006 recipient, Alice Stoakes, researched and measured the impact of separation, divorce and widowhood on the labour and housing markets with a particular focus on women-headed households.
