ATN graduates are problem solvers and excellent communicators. They are knowledgeable, can work collaboratively or autonomously and have an international perspective. They are committed to ethical action and understand the importance of lifelong learning.
Our programs have been designed in consultation with industry and the professions and incorporate real world professional experience so graduates can be immediately effective in the workplace. As well, ATN members continue to work closely with industry to ensure we have some of the most relevant programs across Australia.
ATN universities pride themselves on producing graduates that are prepared to apply their knowledge to a professional, ‘real world’ context. To this end, the ATN has commenced an
internationalisation project aimed at preparing graduates to operate in a professional context within a global environment. This project will allow the ATN to modify its curricula to best suit the needs of graduates entering today’s business, industrial and research environments.
ATN LEAP is a collaborative venture across the ATN to provide their postgraduate research students with the opportunity to increase their employment prospects through an increased awareness of key issues that increase their employability.
The ATN aims to facilitate student mobility nationally be providing ease of credit transfer across programs of ATN members. This allows students from the five ATN universities to move easily between the institutions without fear of losing credit for previous studies.
