Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA)

The ATN is committed to ensuring our research not only benefits our local community, but also addresses areas of national importance, societal challenges, global trends and improves the productivity and prosperity of Australia. Our world-leading research combined with our commitment to fostering partnerships and collaboration is why we are increasingly the partner of choice for industry. 

93% of ATN research is ranked at world class or above.

The third round of the Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative, which assesses the research quality of Australia's higher education institutions against Australian and world benchmarks, has found that 93% of our assessed research is at or above world-class standard compared to 84% in the 2012 round.
