ATN in PROFILE
Now in its 5th year, the University Governance & Regulations Forum is the only event to examine the legislative and regulatory changes impacting the governance of universities and tertiary institutions.
This year the agenda will examine strategies to prepare the industry for regulatory changes, such as the introduction of TEQSA and the new quality assurance agenda. A key focus of this year’s forum is to collectively discuss and develop solutions to manage and guide academic staff as they prepare for regulatory reform. Following on from the release of the Baird review, the forum will also explore the challenges in managing international students, the proposal for reform of the ESOS framework and its impact on governance issues and the higher education sector’s role in expanding the national innovation and research agenda.
