Future Fellowships success

Ten ATN researchers have been among those selected in the 2010 round of the Australian Research Council Future Fellowships scheme to promote research in areas of critical national importance.

The high-profile fellowships are designed to attract and retain the best and brightest mid-career researchers and preference is given to researchers who can demonstrate a capacity to build collaboration across industry, research institutions and/or with other disciplines.

ATN Executive Director, Ms Vicki Thomson, commented that “our universities success in these fellowships illustrates both our focus on important and collaborative research, as well as out growing research profile. ATN researchers were awarded eight fellowships last year and we are sure that more will be successful in future rounds.”
