Radisson Plaza Hotel, Sydney
Now in its 2nd year, the Social Inclusion in
Education conference presents the perfect opportunity to further discuss
enhanced equity in education through cross sector understandings and
partnerships.
This unique event will explore the priorities for the Government’s social
inclusion agenda and the strategies and programs being used to integrate low
SES and disadvantaged students in education. A key focus of the event is to
discuss the challenges impacting universities and tertiary institutions in
attracting and retaining students.
The forum not only examines practical solutions for developing aspirations
to education but also draws attention to the fundamental changes required
within the sector to increase participation of low SES and disadvantaged
students. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn about the programs
being used to prepare these students for higher education and to enhance
student learning outcomes not just aspirations. You will also hear about
industry and community partnerships being developed to facilitate innovative
research and to accommodate increased student numbers.
