We've partnered with one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, Huawei Australia to provide ATN students with the opportunity to embark on a unique learning experience at Huawei's Global Research & Development centres in Shenzen, China, and to discover the latest ITC innovation happening here in Australia. 

Seeds for the Future - Innovation and technology training program - Applications Open!

The Seeds for the Future – Industry-Focused Education and Training Program is a three day residential training course held at the National Training and Innovation Centre at Huawei Australia's HQ in Sydney. Participating students gain an insight into the future of the ICT industry and the opportunities it will provide. Topics covered include data management, enterprise networks, consumer devices and careers in IT.

Upon successful completion, students will be presented with a Huawei Certified Training reference – an invaluable addition to any CV when looking for a job after graduation.

Seeds for the Future - China experience

Seeds for the Future, Huawei’s global initiative offers ATN undergraduate students the opportunity to travel to Huawei’s HQ in Shenzhen, China where they get a unique insight in the latest emerging technology and products, visit Huawei’s Exhibition Centre, R&D labs and Logistics Centre, experience life on campus and learn about Chinese culture.

From 2017, an enhanced Seeds for the Future program will offer 75 students over the next three years, from a broad range of disciplines including ICT, business, commerce, and design the opportunity to travel to China, thanks to support from the Australian Government's New Colombo Mobility program.

Applications will open Monday 7 August 2017.
